As our new Garage Door Sales Manager , you drive sales/operational efficiency while coaching field sales reps (soft skills/consultative selling) and technicians to increase close rates, average ticket. As our new Garage Door Sales Manager , you drive sales/operational efficiency while coaching field sales reps (soft skills/consultative selling) and technicians to increase close rates, average ticket. Ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery, pricing/margin discipline, and data-driven KPIs while building a development-focused team culture. Compensation and Benefits
- OTE: ~$82K-$123,400K+
- Base: $80,000 DOE
- Target bonus based on specific KPIs
- Company vehicle or allowance

- Maintain the price book for margin accuracy; know per-job profit
- Daily review of invoices for margins; produce monthly sales reports
- Set margin threshold best practices and track/train to them
- Leverage consumer financing options (e.g., GreenSky)
- Coach and train sales reps and techs on consultative selling, Good/Better/Best presentation, upsells, and 1:1 coaching
- Implement sales processes, pricing discipline, and clear margin targets
- Define, set, and track KPIs: revenue, margin, avg. ticket, attach rate, conversion, tech productivity
- Recruit and develop team members as needed
- Co-lead weekly meetings with Senior Management
- Coordinate with Senior Management dispatching effectiveness for installs and repairs
- Report performance to company owners and recommend investments as needed
- Research and recommend vendors (door and opener manufacturers, hardware)
- Standardize processes, workflows, and sales procedures
- Implement training programs
- Develop and implement sales/operational strategies to improve productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Support performance standards and accountability systems
- Resolve escalated customer issues related to service or installation in conjunction with the Director of Field Operations
- Reduce liability through documentation, inspections, and compliance processes
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue
- Manage daily labor costs, overtime, truck stock and field inventory in conjunction with the Director of Field Operations
- 5+ years homeservices sales/operations or branch management
- 5+ years leading/coaching field sales teams (coaching role-not individual selling)
- Proven ability to increase average ticket, attach rates, and margins
- Experience managing commission-based sales teams to required qualifications
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable with KPI dashboards
- Garage door or related trades experience (HVAC, plumbing, roofing)
- Experience with ServiceTitan (scheduling, evaluating tech productivity)
