Medical Surgical Float Registered Nurse (RN) KirkSville, Missouri

The organization is seeking a Travel Swing Bed Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care for up to 10 inpatient rehabilitation (swing) patients. The role may also absorb Medical Surgical (Med-Surg) patients if swing volume decreases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week; weekends required; call required; floating required.
• Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS); 1+ year of nursing experience; rehabilitation and/or Medical Surgical (Med-Surg) experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed.
• Additional Information:
  • Nursing care for up to 10 inpatient rehabilitation (swing) patients, with the potential to take Med-Surg patients if swing volume drops.
  • Call requirements: no standing call; may be placed on call if volume supports, with no more than 48 hours of call-off time already included in the standard contract.
  • Floating requirements: primarily to Med-Surg for patient assignments; may be floated to other units for tasking only within existing competencies.
  • Start date: 07/13/2026.
  • Duration: 13 weeks.
  • Ratio: 1:10 (swing patients only).
  • Scrubs: any solid color.
