Financial Analyst / Private Equity Internship (Spring 2017)

Intern with Forest Hills Capital Management We have openings for college undergraduates and graduates who can work during the Spring 2017 semester on a FULL‑TIME basis. Although an unpaid position, our goal is to provide you with valuable hands‑on experience and guidance that could lead to a successful career. Responsibilities Assist other investment professionals in the due diligence process, including market research, financial modeling, and forecasting. Financial Modeling & Forecasting. Review financial information, collateral and other assets to assess portfolio risk and profitability. Organize and manage time effectively to multi‑task and monitor the overall portfolio. Track and maintain prospect database/lists. Attend weekly intern activities. Qualifications Preferable GPA of 3.5 or higher. Available full time (40 hrs/week), 4–5 days a week. Must be a New York City resident (cannot accept New Jersey candidates). Must be able to commute to Forest Hills, NY for the internship. Strong financial, quantitative and organizational skills. Candidate for Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics or business from an accredited business school with a high‑performing academic record. Basic financial analysis skills and ability to read and understand financial statements. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Motivated, self‑starter, entrepreneurial, hard‑working.
