Job Title: Nocturnist – Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) - Troy, NY
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift: 7 PM – 7 AM | 7 on / 7 off
Compensation: $332,800/year + bonuses and benefits

A respected hospital in  Troy, NY is seeking full-time  Nocturnists to join a well-established hospitalist team. This opportunity offers a collegial practice environment, flexible scheduling, and support from APPs. The hospital features a  closed ICU (managed by intensivists), so hospitalists are  not required to perform procedures or manage ICU patients . However, nocturnists are expected to respond to  rapids and codes .

• 12-hour shifts: 7 PM – 7 AM

• Block schedule: 7 on / 7 off

• Average census: 15–18 patients per shift

• No required procedures

• Strong support from Advanced Practice Providers

• EPIC EMR

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  (within 5 years of eligibility)

• Active NY medical license (or willingness to obtain)

• DEA license (or willingness to obtain)

• Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred

• Open to H-1B visa candidates (J-1 not accepted)

• Not open to locum candidates

• Local candidates within 30 miles are not eligible

• Base Salary: $332,800/year

• Starting Bonus: Up to $40,000 (discussed at interview)
