Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards. Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary options. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food storage. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and kitchen protocols. Experience Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or culinary setting, is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, meal planning, and dietary considerations. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food service. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
