HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding seeks a design engineer to craft components and improve products for manufacturing. You’ll use CAD/CAM tools (CAD, CAM, NX, CATIA) to prepare layouts, gather data, and present proposals. Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, and planning groups to ensure manufacturability. Requires Associate's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience; NNPS or NNS Apprentice School graduates valued. On-site role in Newport News with up to 10% travel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
