GCS Supervisor

Position Summary As the GCS (Gas & Chemical Systems) Gas Supervisor at Samsung you will be responsible for safe operation of gas and chemical supply to the site, leading a technician team responsible for maintenance and project needs, and continuously improving these areas as the leader of a world‑class team. You will be a technical lead and supervisor focused on daily and long‑term equipment management, and will achieve outstanding execution and safety performance in 24/7 maintenance of gas and chemical supply systems. Responsibilities Lead a maintenance technician team who performs in‑field work on gas and chemical systems. Oversee advanced preventative and corrective maintenance. Lead and participate in safety initiatives, programs, and activities to drive world‑class safety performance. Troubleshoot complex issues to root cause and provide technical reports to the engineering team. Support capital planning, including participation in the design and selection of equipment and options for large‑scale supply systems. Drive improvements in work processes, equipment, and part management, employing lean principles effectively. Support the management of CMMS for all assets, drive on‑time PM (preventative maintenance) completion, and optimize PM strategies. Ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes and requirements (including PSM/RMP). Support the management and development of annual expense budgets. Support commercial negotiations and the establishment of terms related to services and projects. Support the development of safety and quality projects to improve GCS system performance and reliability. Continuously drive group culture toward greater learning, development, and overall job satisfaction. Mentor and train junior team members. Qualifications 2 years of college/technical school or equivalent related experience (preferred). 6+ years of experience in facilities or high‑volume semiconductor manufacturing (preferably GCS relevant experience). Strong technical skills and the ability to represent the group in work coordination and execution. Compensation The current base salary range for this role is between $90,000 and $124,000. Total compensation will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs based on organizational and individual performance.
