About the job:

The Sourcing Manager will play an essential role within the Vendor Management organization by providing business partners with category management leadership, planning, and expertise. This position is responsible for fostering strong relationships with senior stakeholders across core business units, leading all aspects of the strategic sourcing lifecycle, and collaborating with risk and legal teams on complex vendor engagements. You will focus specifically on identifying, analyzing, and negotiating strategic projects and vendor proposals within the digital asset and financial technology sectors.


Responsibilities:

• Lead competitive sourcing events (RFx) to identify competitive vendors, generate leverage, and drive favorable pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Support sourcing and procurement activities for digital asset and cryptocurrency-related vendor engagements, including custodians, blockchain infrastructure providers, wallet technology vendors, and trading platforms.
• Gather business and technical requirements, producing necessary documentation to support sourcing events and multi-year vendor agreement business cases.
• Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Information Security, and Finance to evaluate vendor risk considerations, including regulatory requirements, data security, KYC/AML obligations, and liability.
• Provide economic analysis of vendor proposals and internal management inquiries regarding existing or potential vendor expenditures.
• Identify and document internal and external risks associated with financial services, market data, digital assets, and blockchain technology transactions.
• Ensure industry-leading procurement services and tools are utilized to support the growth and evolution of supplier and business partner relationships.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, consulting, vendor management, risk management, or procurement.
• Experience sourcing, procuring, negotiating, or supporting vendor engagements involving digital assets, cryptocurrency, blockchain infrastructure, fintech platforms, or related technology services.
• Strong negotiation skills and an understanding of contract law and risk requirements.
• Expertise in sourcing policy, procedures, and processes.
• Proven track record of building effective working relationships with senior-level business partners and supplier counterparts.
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in supply chain management, technology, fintech, digital assets, or related financial services.
• Familiarity with digital asset market structure, crypto custody models, blockchain analytics, wallet infrastructure, stablecoins, tokenized assets, and evolving regulatory expectations.
• Experience with Ariba and Tableau.
• Ability to apply organizational change management and consulting skills.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, conflict resolution, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
