Emergency Medicine Physician - Flexible Schedule

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a collaborative rural emergency department in Plainview, Texas. This role offers flexible scheduling and strong compensation in a well-supported, low-volume setting.

Highlights:

Flexible scheduling: 1099 full-time, part-time, or PRN
Compensation: $280-$290/hour
Malpractice: Paid with tail coverage
Facility: 49-bed Emergency Department
Volume: ~13,000 annual visits
Trauma Level: Level IV
EMR: EPIC
Team: 5 Physicians and 3 APPs
Advanced medical technology and diagnostics

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality emergency care for a wide range of acute conditions
Stabilize and manage trauma and medical emergencies
Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing, and support staff
Document care efficiently in EPIC

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABEM or PC with Emergency Medicine experience preferred)
Emergency Medicine experience required
Active Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure
Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
