Maintenance Technical Specialist (A4, 1st Shift)

We currently have an immediate position available for a Maintenance Technical Specialist at our CVG Hub located in Erlanger, Kentucky. The Maintenance Technical Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of material handling equipment (MHE) and all associated equipment within the DHL Express CVG Hub. Key Accountabilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on assigned equipment (tilt tray sorters and associated feeder components, conveyors, scales, scanners, cameras, variable frequency drives, etc). Knowledge of ASi systems, Profibus networks, and Siemens PLCs is a plus. Proficient in reading and comprehending electrical connection diagrams and schematics. Utilize hand tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers in the performance of duties. Occasionally operate forklifts, scissor lifts, snorkel/boom lifts, pallet jacks, and small conveyance vehicles. Wear applicable personal protective equipment (including arc flash protection gear) and follow rules and regulations related to a detailed lockout/tagout (LOTO) program. Complete job specific tasks associated with facilities maintenance such as high speed overhead doors, lighting, general power distribution, high voltage electric monitoring, water distribution and sewage management, HVAC, low pressure boilers, dock levelers, fire protection systems, generators, etc. Skills and Qualifications Wear 100% cotton uniforms (part of the arc flash protection gear) at all times. Wear safety toe boots at all times. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Detail oriented, self‑starter with a positive attitude. General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a plus. Working knowledge of a CMMS (specifically Maximo) is a plus. Supply a small predetermined list of personal hand tools. Specific skills in metal fabrication, welding, torches, rigging, etc are a plus. Working knowledge of HMI and GDU applications. Ability to climb stairs and ladders frequently. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly. Ability to work in hot and cold environments, including inclement weather. Ability to stand for long durations.
