Restaurant ManagerWe are looking for an experienced, people-focused Restaurant Manager who knows how to lead a team, create a great guest experience, and keep a busy restaurant running smoothly.At O.H.S.O., an effective manager does more than oversee a shift. You'll set the tone for the team, communicate clear expectations, coach employees, recognize great performance, and step in wherever support is needed. We are looking for a confident, approachable leader who builds trust, holds the team accountable, and helps employees grow and succeed.You'll work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to oversee front-of-house operations, maintain service and safety standards, manage labor and inventory, and help the restaurant meet its sales and operational goals. And because dogs are a big part of the O.H.S.O. experience, you should enjoy having four-legged guests around!ResponsibilitiesLead front-of-house employees and maintain a positive, team-oriented work environmentSet clear expectations and ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilitiesCoach, train, and develop employees through regular feedback and hands-on supportRecognize strong performance and address attendance, conduct, or performance concerns appropriatelyOversee daily restaurant operations and ensure shifts run smoothlyCreate a welcoming atmosphere and ensure guests receive friendly, attentive serviceRespond to guest questions and concerns professionally and work toward positive resolutionsMaintain inventory levels and assist with purchasing and product controlsComplete required daily paperwork, reports, cash handling, and administrative duties accuratelySchedule employees and oversee staffing levels based on business needsMonitor labor, sales, service, and other operational resultsIdentify negative trends and help implement strategies to improve performance and increase salesEnsure company policies and procedures are followed consistentlySafeguard company cash, property, products, and equipmentMaintain safe working conditions for employees and guestsEnsure all food-safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service procedures are followedMaintain strong knowledge of the menu, craft beer, spirits, promotions, and restaurant offeringsWork closely with the management team to meet revenue and operational goalsLead by example and assist the team wherever neededQualificationsAt least two years of recent front-of-house restaurant management experienceProven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and hold a team accountableStrong emphasis on guest relations and hospitalityCurrent Title 4 liquor certificationCurrent Food Handler's CardStrong knowledge of beer, preferably including craft beerPOS experience required; Aloha experience is a plusExcellent communication, organization, and decision-making skillsAbility to remain calm and lead effectively in a fast-paced environmentDependable, professional, and comfortable managing multiple prioritiesAvailability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredGreat with people—and dogs, of course!CompensationStarting base salary of $55,000 or more, based on experienceEligible for a competitive bonus programBenefits & PerksMedical, dental, and vision insurance available to eligible full-time employees after 60 days of employmentHealth Savings Account with employer contribution for eligible employeesPaid time off after completing a 90-day waiting periodPaid sick leavePaid parental leave for eligible full-time employeesCompetitive bonus-program eligibilityFree employee meal during each shift worked50% employee discount on food and merchandiseAccess to earned wages before payday through our pay-on-demand programAnnual employee holiday party
