Come join the Southern Gentleman team and help us on our mission to show the Buckhead community what it means to be from the South. The Southern Gentleman is a Southern-inspired gastropub located in Buckhead Village, where the team welcomes our guests as if they were being welcomed into our home.

Bartenders are responsible for the success of the bar at the restaurant. This includes:

• Mixing drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards.
• Demonstrating thorough knowledge of food and beverage products.
• Guiding guests through the menus while demonstrating knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
• Handling assigned house bank and following cash handling procedures.
• Suggesting items based on probing questions to understand what guests like or dislike.
• Providing pleasant and timely service.
• Anticipating guest needs and ensuring they are set up for a smooth dining experience.

What we require of you:

• Must be able to obtain an Alcohol Safety certification up to 30 days after hire date.
• Positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to work the hours dictated by the business and schedule set in place by the Manager; Weekend, evening, and holiday work may be necessary.
• Ability to follow regulations regarding age requirements for the purchase of alcohol.
