Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor and Delivery (L&D) Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36/week Shift: 7p-7a Location: Carthage, NY Position Type: Travel Estimated Payment Breakdown $3200/week Job Summary Elite Medical Staffing is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for an L&D Unit in Carthage, NY. Responsibilities Utilize EMRto record patients’ medical information and vital signs Assess and monitor maternal and fetal well‑being throughout labor and delivery Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed Assist with labor management, delivery procedures, and postpartum stabilization Monitor patient responses and communicate changes in condition to healthcare providers Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and families Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active RN license Minimum 1 year of experience working in L&D Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations Credentials Required Active and unencumbered NY RN License Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport
