Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine, requiring ARDMS OB/GYN certification and 2+ years of MFM experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Maternal Fetal Medicine unit, primarily stationed at one location with possible coverage at a second nearby facility
- 1:1 patient ratio
- 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Uses GE ultrasound equipment
- May float among designated hospitals based on staffing needs
Requirements
- ARDMS OB/GYN certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience, with Maternal Fetal Medicine experience required
- Recent experience within the last 12 months required
- Skills required include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scanning, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, nuchal translucency screen, fetal abdomen, abdominal circumference, bone lengths, cerebellum/ventricles, diaphragm, duodenal atresia/intussusception, fingers/toes, gender, head, and heart assessments
- Inter/intra-orbital measurements, multiple pregnancy, placenta previa, and umbilical cord doppler skills preferred
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Active state license(s) and certifications must be in hand prior to consideration; pending licenses or certifications not accepted
- License required if applicable
- Must complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing
- Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Does not offer a local rate
- Candidates living within 50 miles of their primary facility are subject to the local rate
- RTO must be submitted with the profile; requests after submission will not be accepted
- No RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment
- Block scheduling is not permitted
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions
