Dietary AideCome join the team at WeCare Centers! WeCare Centers at Foltsbrook Care Center is actively seeking motivated Dietary Aides for our community in Herkimer, NY. Our Dietary Aides assist in the kitchen area prior to, during, and after meals are served to residents.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain kitchen work areas.Maintain equipment, utensils, and food plates clean and orderly.Prepares meals, snacks, and nourishments in accordance with sanitary regulations, as well as the facility standards and procedures.Serves meals that are palatable, appetizing in appearance, garnished and at proper temperature on a timely basis.Serves food from steam table and or transport food delivery carts to the resident areas.Honors residents food likes, dislikes per tray ticket within prescribed diet.Ensures food supplies for the next day production is available.Assists cooks in preparing meals as directed.Uses proper hand washing techniques and safety procedures.Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseAbility to meet all health compliance and competency requirementsAbility to read, write, and communicate effectivelyMinimum 1 year food service experienceBenefitsSame Day PayEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramContinuing Education Tuition ProgramPTO Exchange ProgramHealth InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceVoluntary Benefits401k with discretionary matchEAPWe reward hard working and caring professionals with competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities!About WeCare CentersAt WeCare Centers, we believe in not only providing exceptional care for our residents but also ensuring a supportive and enriching environment for our team.
