A Day in the Life

This Test Engineer position is responsible for providing key technical expertise and organizational leadership and focus for developing the test capability necessary to evaluate products to meet standards compliance regulatory approval and businesss needs. This position provide support that spans the full range of research technology and development of new and derivative products.

The Test Engineer will work with designers and reliability engineers and technicians to develop and execute strategies that provide the test capabilities necessary to drive decisions and support regulatory submission

This role will require less than 10% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Designs develops and implements testing methods and equipment.
• Plans and arranges the labor schedules and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
• Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
• Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment testing procedures manufacturing processes or new testing requirements.
• Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

Requirements: Requires a Baccalaureate degreeAND minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR Masters degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant experience

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$84800.00 - $127200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
