Overview:

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center, located in Elizabeth City, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week temporary hospital float position. The pay rate is $65 per hour.

The RN is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice and professional performance encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.

The RN must meet and maintain any requirements defined by a specific specialty.

Education:

• RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN

Certification/Licensure:

• Valid RN License to practice in Virginia
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Experience:

• MUST have AT LEAST 2 years of RECENT bedside RN experience in Med Tele and or IMCU
• EPI C documentation system experience required
