Forklift Operator - Bethlehem, PA
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Forklift Operator to work with ShipBob in Bethlehem, PA. You will play a critical part in day-to-day warehouse operations, handling material transport, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory flow in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Shift Patterns
- 06:00 AM - 04:30 PM (10h 30m) - Repeats weekly on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
- Mandatory or voluntary overtime may be required based on seasonal demand.
Pay Rates
- 18.75 USD hourly
Essential Requirements for Forklift Operator
- Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
- Minimum 6 to 12 months of hands-on experience operating forklifts (Stand-Up Reach or Sit-Down Counterbalance preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, sit or stand for extended periods, and work at elevated heights
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility
Role for Forklift Operator
- Safely operate power industrial trucks including Stand-Up Reach Trucks, Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklifts, Cherry Pickers, or Electric Pallet Jacks
- Unload incoming freight from trailers, inspect shipments for damage, and stage materials for put-away
- Locate, move, and stack pallets into high-bay racking systems accurately using RF scanners
- Replenish picking locations, stage outgoing orders, and assist packing teams during peak volume periods
- Conduct pre-shift inspection checks on equipment and follow facility safety protocols
