The opportunity
A 30-year-old Dallas business has just entered its next chapter. Backed by a family office and led by a new President this company is scaling from $25M to $50M and they need the right finance leader to build the function that gets them there.
This is a great role for the right person, strategic enough to partner directly with the President and family office investors, hands-on enough to own the accounting yourself. You'll professionalise the finance function, implement new processes and ways of working including assessing technology and become a genuine commercial voice at the leadership table.
What you'll own
- Full ownership of the accounting function, general ledger, close, reporting
- Professionalising processes and implementing new financial systems and technology
- Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis
- Direct partnership with the President and family office on financial strategy
- Building and developing the finance team as the business scales
Who we're looking for
- A confident CPA eligible accountant who is happy to be hands-on and in the weeds
- Someone who knows what good looks like and can build out the department
- A commercia mindset, comfortable presenting to investors and senior leadership
- Experience with process improvement and technology implementation
- CPA eligible · Dallas-based · $120,000 – $160,000 base salary
