Psychologist in Hematology/Oncology- Focus Sickle Cell Greenville, SC Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, seeks a full-time Psychologist. Primary responsibilities will be in our young adult and adult patient sickle cell disease program based in our growing divisions of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young adults and adults with complex medical conditions, including chronic pain, as part of a multidisciplinary team in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Details: Candidate must be licensed or license-eligible in the State of SC Candidate must have a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program as well completed an internship and post-doctoral fellowship A successful applicant for this position will be a self-starter, flexible in nature, and have a strong background utilizing evidence-based biopsychosocial treatment modalities with adults and young adults diagnosed with medical conditions and their families Primary duties include providing psychotherapy and consultation services for young adults and adults with sickle cell disease in both outpatient and inpatient medical settings hematology/oncology team. Candidate should have experience working in outpatient and inpatient multi- and/or interdisciplinary teams within a healthcare setting Candidate should have experience working with young adults and adults with a variety of complex medical conditions and experience assessing and treating chronic pain or related disorders.
