*About the Role*

We are seeking an experienced *Travel Emergency Department RN* for a *13-week assignment* starting *May, 2026*. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where youll treat a wide range of patientsfrom lower-acuity clinic cases to critical emergencies including strokes, STEMIs, Level I traumas, post-surgical complications, pregnancy-related emergencies, pediatrics, and behavioral health.

This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives under pressure, works independently, and can confidently manage complex clinical situations.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Provide patient care using the *nursing process* (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation)
* Manage *high-acuity and complex patient cases* in the ED setting
* Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor effectiveness and side effects
* Document all patient care accurately and timely
* Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and delegate tasks appropriately

*Qualifications*

*Education:*

* BSN preferred

*Experience:*

* Minimum *2 years recent ED experience REQUIRED*
* Trauma center experience (Level I, II, or III) REQUIRED

*Certifications & Licensure:*

* Active RN license (State of New Mexico or Compact License)
* *BLS (AHA) Required*
* *ACLS (AHA) Required*
* *PALS (AHA) Required*
* *TNCC Required*
