Job Description:

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Perform CT scans and assist physicians and radiologists
• Ensure high quality of images produced
• Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies
• Perform special procedures, angiography, and related quality control monitoring
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience required plus at least 1 previous travel assignment completed successfully
• ARRT (R), BLS required
• ARRT(CT) preferred but not required
• Cerner and/or Change Healthcare PACs experience preferred but not required
