Registered Nurse (RN) Homecare Nurse: Mendota, IL

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one care for a 5-year-old male patient in the comfort of his home in Mendota, IL.

This patient requires skilled nursing support, including G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care. Whether you are experienced in pediatric homecare or looking to expand your clinical skills, Maxim provides paid training and ongoing clinical support to ensure your success.

Available schedule:

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 4 Days per week
• Consistent daytime hours

Position Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with the physician's plan of care
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs
• Monitor respiratory status and provide tracheostomy and ventilator management
• Administer medications, treatments, and enteral feedings as ordered
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Identify and report changes in patient condition
• Educate and support family members regarding patient care needs
• Collaborate with physicians, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Required*
• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Current health certificate (as required by state regulations)
• Current PPD or chest X-ray
• Preferred
• Previous pediatric nursing experience
• Experience with G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care
• Homecare or private duty nursing experience
