Position Dental Health Informatics Training and Development Specialist – Dental Clinics – College of Dentistry Hiring Department Dental Clinics Location Chicago, IL USA Requisition ID 1041168 Posting Close Date July 15, 2026 Salary $90,000.00 to $105,000.00 Responsibilities Evaluate training needs of all EHR end‑users and develop tailored solutions applying new ideas in content design, content management, and eLearning/multimedia tool usage. Design, update, and deliver instructor‑led, online, and blended learning curricula, including e‑learning modules, printed materials, tip sheets, and in‑person sessions. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for faculty, staff, students, and residents in the EHR system in collaboration with UIHealth. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in an oral health profession, health informatics, health information management, or a clinical discipline with an educational or informatics focus. Minimum of 3 years working with an electronic health record (EHR) or developing EHR training, education, or clinical informatics, including direct support of end users in an oral health organization, healthcare, or academic health sciences setting. Desired Qualifications Master’s degree and licensure in oral health sciences or DDS/DMD or foreign equivalent (e.g., MPH, MPA, RDH). Experience with oral health curriculum, prior teaching experience, and working knowledge of Epic Wisdom Dental Software. Plan to obtain Epic certification within 6 months of hire.
