Dry Van Company Driver W2 Truck Driving Jobs - Taylor, MI
Are you a CDL-A driver searching for an OTR opportunity with competitive pay and modern equipment? Join American Trucking Group and drive dry van routes that offer excellent mileage potential along with performance bonuses. Experience the freedom of over-the-road driving with our well-maintained equipment and consistent earning opportunities.
Home Time:
- Typically out 1-2 weeks depending on location and freight. We strive for weekly home time, but two-week periods may occur.
- Schedule runs Monday through Saturday with a full 34-hour reset every Sunday.
Equipment:
- Our fleet consists of vehicles no older than three years, including Peterbilt 579s, International, and Freightliner models.
- All trucks are equipped with inverters, refrigerators, and Qualcomm systems. Drivers can take their truck and trailer home, ensuring secured parking responsibility.
No Touch Freight:
- All dry van loads utilize 70% drop and hook operations, significantly reducing dock waiting times.
- 100% no-touch freight primarily consists of automotive loads for greater efficiency.
Pay and Miles:
- Average earnings range from $1,350 to $1,600 weekly based on hiring location, covering 2,500-2,800 miles weekly.
- Base rates of .45, .50, or .55 CPM plus a $750 monthly performance bonus ($0.09 CPM) for achieving 8,000 safe miles monthly.
Running Area:
- Primarily east of I-35, with dedicated drivers potentially achieving 3,000 miles weekly. Consistent freight lanes ensure reliable mileage and earning potential.
Benefits:
- Health insurance begins on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
- Additional benefits include vision, dental, life insurance, and a 401K program. Eligible for dedicated accounts after 90 days.
