We're partnering with a leading financial services organization seeking a Software Engineer to join a team supporting a large-scale retirement and benefits platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who can ramp up quickly, work independently, and contribute to modern web application development in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $50.00 to $55.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Build and enhance Angular single-page applications (SPAs)
• Develop reusable UI components and front-end features from scratch
• Connect applications to APIs and backend services
• Develop and support Java/Spring-based services
• Write and optimize Oracle/SQL queries
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate across teams
• Help maintain and enhance an enterprise-scale platform supporting retirement solutions

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Strong Angular expertise (primary focus of the role)
• Java and Spring/Spring Boot development experience
• Oracle or SQL database experience
• Experience integrating APIs and working with REST services
• Ability to onboard quickly and operate independently in a complex environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred.
