Job Details

• Position: Operating Room (OR) Nurse
• Certifications/Education: RN License required; ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required; Certification (CNOR) preferred.
• Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of experience in a surgical nursing setting.
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts during the day, specifically 0630 to 1500, with 7 call shifts over a six-week period. Shifts include at least 2 weekend shifts and 4 weekday shifts, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Location Requirements: Must live 100 miles away from the facility.
• Additional Information: The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties, preparing the OR environment, assembling equipment and supplies, and ensuring all surgical tools and implants are ready. The role involves serving as a liaison among patients, families, and operative team members to facilitate optimal intraoperative care.
