Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary

Summary:
The Bed Coordinator facilitates processes on a daily basis to expedite patient's movement within the organization. Adheres to patient centered care principles in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams; DONs, ANSs, NMs, Admitting office, Case Management and Social Work. Coordinates, prioritizes and optimizes patient flow activities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse diploma or college program.
• BSN preferred.

Experience And Skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• 2-3 years hospital nursing experience, including medical surgical.
• Good oral and written communications skills

License/Certifications
• Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Professional Nurse in New York State.
