Machine Builder

Join our dynamic team as a Machine Builder, where you will be responsible for the assembly and construction of capital equipment. Utilize your skills to layout, plan, and complete subassembly work, ensuring precision and accuracy in every build.

Responsibilities
  • Layout, plan, and complete subassembly work and mounting of commercial components to large and small frame weldments with a high degree of accuracy for close tolerance assembly.
  • Mechanically fasten electrical components to electrical panels and enclosures.
  • Work from pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, as well as written, verbal, and personal knowledge to determine the location and placement of components.
  • Troubleshoot and ensure correct placement and assembly of all components.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, drills, conduit benders, pipe threading equipment, and measuring devices such as volt meters and continuity testers.
  • Drill and tap holes, and work with 220-480 V electricity.
  • Test completed machines to ensure proper functionality and correct connections.
  • Handle custom-built machines according to customer specifications, including complex wire diagrams and schematics.
Essential Skills
  • At least 4 years of machine building experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Experience with pneumatics.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Possession of basic tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with 110v to 480V electricity.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics.
  • Proficiency in using measuring equipment including volt/ohmmeter, ammeter, oscilloscope, and electronic bench instruments.

Work Environment

Work in a brand-new, air-conditioned, and heated building. The facility offers a clean and temperature-controlled work environment with a cafeteria and market available. With a team of 50 employees, the company fosters a family-type atmosphere. Some overtime may be required, but only after training is completed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Twinsburg, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $54080.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Time Off & Leave Vacation: Typically structured around 2 weeks of paid vacation for the first several years of employment. Attendance Incentives: Additional time-off perks or hours (such as 2.5 extra hours per month) tied to punctuality and attendance. Sick Leave & Holidays: Standard sick days (reports average around 4 days per year) alongside personal days and floating holidays
