Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Sanford, NC
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 18:45 - 07:15
Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide high-quality care for patients in a critical condition. This role involves monitoring patient health, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare team members to implement care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to individuals with critical health conditions.
- Monitor and assess patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with medical staff and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Educate patients and families regarding care and treatment processes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license in North Carolina.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- CPI/HWC/MAB certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of ICU experience required.
