Share Services Accounting Leader

Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis area to hire a Shared Services Accounting Leader. This hybrid leadership role oversees global shared services accounting operations, drives process improvements and system initiatives, and ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance. • Lead global shared services accounting operations and oversee key financial close activities
• Manage and develop a high-performing accounting team while driving operational excellence
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to support financial reporting, compliance, and strategic initiatives
• Identify process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support finance transformation efforts, including ERP initiatives
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance accounting processes and drive continuous improvement
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA, public accounting experience, and large-scale systems implementation experience are preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and leadership experience
• Experience leading accounting operations, managing teams, and driving process improvements
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting best practices
