Overview / Job Description

A large industrial services company is seeking skilled Journeyman Electricians to support project-based work in a warehouse environment. This role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems that support automated and industrial operations. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment within a warehouse setting
• Run and bend conduit, pull wire, and connect lighting, panels, and outlets
• Interpret basic electrical schematics for installations and troubleshooting
• Perform work on heavy-duty electrical systems supporting forklifts, conveyor belts, automated sorting systems, HVAC, and lighting
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and electrical codes
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site

Required Skills

• 3+ years of electrician experience in an industrial or warehouse environment
• Active Journeyman Electrician License (Connecticut)
• Experience running conduit, pulling wire, and completing electrical installations
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices and compliance standards

Plusses

• Experience working with automated warehouse systems or conveyor systems
• Background supporting industrial equipment and machinery
• Experience with high-voltage or heavy-duty electrical systems
