What You Will Lead

• Strategic Growth: Execute the strategic plan, identify opportunities to expand membership, strengthen lending, and deepen relationships throughout the Kettering Health community.
• Financial Leadership: Maintain financial strength through sound financial management, asset-liability management, liquidity oversight, and responsible growth.
• Technology & Innovation: Advance digital banking, modernize operations, and evaluate emerging technologies to improve efficiency and the member experience.
• Team & Culture: Build a collaborative, accountable workplace by developing employees, empowering managers, and fostering open communication and professional growth.
• Board Partnership: Work closely with the Board of Directors to shape strategy, provide financial and risk oversight, and guide long-term organizational success.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure effective risk management, strong internal controls, and compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.

The Leader We Are Looking For

KH Credit Union is seeking an experienced financial services leader who brings strong financial acumen, strategic vision, and a hands-on, relationship-focused leadership style.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Executive Experience: Progressive leadership experience in a credit union, bank, or related financial institution, with experience in a smaller or mid-sized organization preferred.
• Financial & Operational Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial management, lending, asset-liability management, liquidity, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Strategic & Growth Orientation: The ability to execute strategic plans, identify growth opportunities, strengthen member relationships, and advance technology and operational efficiency.
• People & Relationship Leadership: An approachable, collaborative leader who develops employees, builds trust with the Board of Directors, and fosters a positive culture of accountability and teamwork.
• Sound Judgment & Adaptability: The ability to balance long-term strategy with day-to-day operations, make informed decisions, and navigate changing business and regulatory needs.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Above all, the next President/CEO will demonstrate a genuine commitment to the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” and improving members’ financial well-being.
