Cardiac Surgery Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Rapid City, SD Full-Time Cardiac Surgery OR, Rounding, Clinic, and Call 40 HoursAn established cardiac surgery practice in Rapid City, South Dakota is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a growing cardiothoracic and vascular surgery team.Opportunity Highlights:

• Full-time Cardiac Surgery APP role
• Join a growing team with experienced cardiothoracic and vascular-trained surgeons
• Varied schedule includes operating room, rounding, clinic, and call responsibilities
• Support cardiac surgery patients across perioperative and outpatient care settings
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage selected at-risk or complex patients
• May perform procedures within scope of practice
• Experience preferred, but training for strong new graduates may be considered
• Regular full-time position with 40 scheduled weekly hours
• Rotating schedule
• Strong opportunity for APPs interested in cardiac surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and vascular exposure

Candidate Requirements:
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• South Dakota Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification required
• 1+ year of clinical experience preferred
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred
• Cardiac surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, surgical APP, OR, or inpatient rounding experience preferred
• Strong new graduates may be considered with training
• Motivated, patient-focused provider with strong communication and collaboration skills
