Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
The ER RN will provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring patient safety and clinical outcomes. This role involves working 3x12 hour shifts during the day shift and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions quickly and accurately upon arrival in the emergency department.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Document patient care, observations, and treatments thoroughly in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and assist with resuscitation efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience.
• Certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS through the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrate proficiency in clinical assessment and emergency interventions.
• Be able to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• CPR and TNCC certifications preferred.
