Senior Software Engineer (Hybrid; Northern Virginia; …) Position Title: Senior Software Engineer Requisition ID: TA215 Location(s): Hybrid; Northern Virginia, Washington Capital Area Application Deadline: Ongoing applications accepted Job Description Trusted Space is seeking a Senior Software Developer with a bachelor’s degree or higher and 8+ years’ experience to join our team. Supports program objectives to include software development in a classified environment Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives; provides analytical support and technical advice during the conceptualization, development, and implementation phases Assists in the review and evaluation of systems and software for adherence to government or commercial directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety Comfortable building C++ programs from the ground up Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree 8+ years in software engineering or related experience 4 years of experience with C++ (preferably C++17 or newer) and CMake 4 years of experience with Python 3 Strong understanding of multi-threading and concurrent programming concepts Ability to work in Linux environments and with Linux kernel modules Must have the ability to architect software solutions using new and novel concepts with a high degree of autonomy Active Top Secret/SCI clearance Desired Skills Familiarity with GPU processing Familiarity with Agile Methodology Experience with Rust development Experience with various frameworks and libraries including ArrayFire, BitFlow SDK, Azure DevOps, NumPy, RabbitMQ (or other messaging systems), OpenGL, Azure ML, ONNX Framework Experience with database programming (e.g., MongoDB) Experience with containerization and build containers (e.g., Docker) Salary Range: $165,000-$200,000 Benefits Competitive compensation and benefits including medical, dental, and vision plans; life and accidental death & dismemberment insurance; 401(k) plan; paid holidays and generous paid time off; short-term and long-term disability insurance; and other benefits to promote health, wellness, and a positive work‑life balance.
