Tech Cytotechnologist

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Review and analyze cellular specimens using microscopy and other laboratory tools.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and stain slides following strict protocols to highlight cellular features.
  
  
• 
  Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, including EPIC Beaker systems.
  
  
• 
  Document findings meticulously and communicate results to physicians.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to safety guidelines and quality control procedures to ensure specimen integrity.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with clinical teams to support diagnostic accuracy and patient care.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid State of Florida Cytologist or Cytotechnologist license or certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in using EPIC Beaker and other laboratory automation systems.
  
  
• 
  Possess strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Have prior experience in cytology or a related laboratory setting.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent documentation and communication abilities.
  
  
• 
  Be able to work Monday through Friday, from 06:30 to 15:00.
