Field Service Technician

Summary:
- Location: Stone Mountain, GA
- Duration: 6 Months
- 7am-5:30pm, Monday-Thursday
- OT on Fridays or rain make-up days
- Contractor must be flexible to work from multiple locations in Stone Mountain or other areas in Georgia
- Execute field service activities at customer sites safely and efficiently
- Create and maintain a safe working environment and culture
- Take care of company property
- Troubleshoot systems for mechanical and electrical equipment conditions
- Identify and remedy safety issues on both company and customer-owned equipment
- Directly interface with customers, potentially at multiple sites with various technologies
- Inspect valves and service hydrants
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card
- Technical experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices
- Customer service experience
- Demonstrate critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
- Able to pass a credit check
- Able to obtain a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements
- Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis
- Must be able to walk, write, and type frequently
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to climb and descend stairs
- Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull occasionally
- Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing
- May work indoors and outdoors as needed, with exposure to extreme temperatures
- May work in areas where noise level requires hearing protection
- May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt
- Work surfaces may include concrete
- Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone
- Some travel to other locations, meetings, and/or seminars is required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Ability to maintain a company vehicle
