Production SupervisorThe Microwave Value stream has an opportunity for a 1st shift Production Supervisor to join the Antenna Elements Team. This position has responsibility for the manufacturing operation team in a fast paced, multi-shift, low mix / high volume environment that produces products for PATRIOT Radar system. The Production Supervisor ensures that all products meet contractual quality, cost, and schedule requirements by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of production while maintaining a safe work environment.The position is responsible for the effective execution of the manufacturing operations strategy, using the available control systems, tools and metrics to accurately measure progress, identify root causes of failure modes, assess production capacity, resolve quality and staffing issues and develop/implement corrective action plans.What You Will DoSafety and continuous improvement initiatives.Schedule and cost accountability.Effectively manage day-to-day assignments for 25-30 represented employees.Workload planning and forecasting.Employee training and cross training.Time and attendance tracking.Enforcing company policies and procedures.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.Supervisory, Leadership and/or Operations/Manufacturing experience is required.Qualifications We PreferExperience with microelectronics fabrication with the ability to operate within a clean room environment.Previous experience supervising bargaining unit employees.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).Previous leadership and management experience in manufacturing or similar environments with managing low mix /high volume manufacturing lines.Experience utilizing business systems and tools that aid in managing labor, processes, and budgets.What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
