American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Infusion position requiring CA licensure, BSN, and 2 years of infusion center experience at a teaching hospital setting.

Work in the Infusion Center of an outpatient oncology setting

Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Epic charting system used, preferred experience

Floating to a different department, unit, or facility within a 75+ mile radius may be required if qualified

Active CA RN license required at time of submission

BSN required

AHA BLS certification required

Chemo (ONS/ONCC) certification required

OCN certification preferred

2 years of infusion center experience required

Teaching hospital experience required and must be noted in employment history

Inpatient/outpatient experience preferred

Skills required: IV therapy/infusions, accessing/managing ports, administration of blood and blood products, chemotherapy administration, body fluid handling post-chemotherapy, management/disposal of cytotoxic spills, monitoring chemotherapy, and recognizing/communicating abnormal lab values

2 professional references from most recent employer required for consideration

Provide infusion and chemotherapy administration care in an outpatient oncology setting

Candidates with prior employment at any University of California medical facility or acquired facilities must disclose this employment history, including dates worked, units, and manager names

All requested time off must be disclosed at time of consideration and approved by the manager at time of offer; no additional requests accepted mid-contract

Time off is not permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment

Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
