Financial Services Analyst

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Financial Services Analyst

Position type: Fulltime - Contract role
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: San Antonio, Texas

As a Financial Services Analyst, you will:

• Responsible for preparing, analyzing, and distributing financial and statistical reports, including variance explanations, reconciliations, and benchmark analysis
• Responsible for supporting audits and financial initiatives with schedules, documentation, and technical research (position papers, policy documentation)
• Responsible for maintaining dashboards, calculating ratios, graphing trends, and monitoring financial performance
• Responsible for evaluating, recommending, and documenting accounting and financial policies, procedures, and process improvements (desktop procedures, flowcharts)
• Responsible for communicating financial concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders while providing responsive customer service
• Responsible for participating in projects and process improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Auditing OR 60 hours of course credit with current enrollment
• Experience in program/project management for operational units
• Knowledge of finance/accounting concepts with ability to prioritize, organize, and adapt work
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Strong teamwork, independence, and initiative across varied work settings (office, field, construction)
• Excellent written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to meet goals with minimal supervision, make recommendations, and independent decisions

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a financial analyst providing technical/analytical solutions
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft, or Hyperion

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $25 - $30 per hours
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
