TLM Quality Control Associate

Location: Odessa, TX

Job Type: Full-Time | Contract

Pay: $27.00 per hour

Position Overview

SGF Global is seeking a detail-oriented TLM Quality Control Associate to support quality assurance operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing inspections, verifying product quality, maintaining quality control systems, and ensuring compliance with company and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has experience in quality control within a manufacturing or repair shop environment, strong inspection skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Inspect purchased components and finished products for compliance with specifications.
• Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
• Accurately document inspection results and quality records.
• Operate quality control equipment and perform routine maintenance as required.
• Apply and control chemicals while following MSDS requirements and safety procedures.
• Follow all Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Identify hazards and support a safe working environment.
• Maintain quality standards and assist with continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Minimum of 2 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing or repair shop environment.
• Experience performing dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to accurately document inspection results.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or machining environments.
• Knowledge of Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) inspection methods.
• Level II NDE certification or qualification preferred.
• Familiarity with additional inspection equipment and quality control processes.
