Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry

Job OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry to join our healthcare team in Louisville, KY. The Telemetry RN will be responsible for monitoring patients with cardiac conditions and other critical illnesses, utilizing advanced equipment to track vital signs and ensure timely intervention. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.Key Responsibilities:Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipmentAssess patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in statusAdminister medications and treatments as prescribedCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plansEducate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge careMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient careEnsure compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policiesProvide compassionate support to patients and their familiesRequirements:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky (or compact state license)Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)Minimum of 1–2 years of telemetry or acute care experience preferredBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or required within a specified timeframeStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentWork Environment: Hospital or acute care settingRotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as neededExposure to medical equipment and potentially infectious diseases
