Material Handler

Location: North Reading, MA/West Borough, MA

Duration: 9 Months

Pay Range: $17 to $19

Responsibilities:

• Service Technicians are members of the Assembly and Logistics teams within the general manufacturing team responsible for building, automated testing, and packaging of clients products manufactured internally.
• Production associates use their general knowledge of manufacturing tools (including but not limited to torque tools, wrenches, channel locks, etc.).
• Required tasks and build electro-mechanical units utilizing industry best practices.
• Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols.
• Learning systems and tools for material management as well as coordinate methods of delivery with suppliers and customers.

Years of Experience: 6 months to 1 yrs of experience

Education Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent

Required Skills: 1 yrs of overall experience

Material Handler:

• Has used power tools, power jacks, if they have done HIT Training
• Mechanical skills (not to change a transmission but someone who has used small tools in production/building/creating something).
• Candidates should be comfortable with somewhat of repetitive steps.
• Materials World: Experience in material handling, logistics, inventory, shipping, or receiving.
• Assembly Work: Background in a production or assembly environment.
• Hand Tool Proficiency: Comfort and experience with the use of hand tools is critical.
