divh2Yard Specialist I/h2pThe Yard Specialist I is responsible for general maintenance and logistics of the Yard, as well as supporting the Rental, Parts, and Service Departments as needed./ppWHAT YOULL DO:/pulliPrepare tools for shipment to other stores and dealers./liliProperly dispose (check-in) all tools that are received for factory, vendors, and other locations./liliAssemble and disassemble work tools as required and ensure proper labeling of all tools./liliMaintain good order and cleanliness of the yard./liliAssist Rental, Parts, and Service Departments when instructed to do so./liliGreets customers in yard, helping direct them to office or unloading areas./liliAssists delivery drivers in loading and unloading work tools./liliWill be involved in washing and/or performing light maintenance on work tools./liliHas good working knowledge of all work tools./liliMakes final inspection of equipment before customer receives it, verifying inventory ID number, fuel level, and rental ready condition./liliVerifies fuel consumed and inspects all detail of equipment when returned./liliInstalls service tags on equipment returned from rental./liliMoves rental ready equipment back to proper storage areas following routine maintenance procedures by service shop./liliGreets customers in yard, helping direct them to office or unloading areas./liliAssists customers and delivery drivers in loading and unloading rental equipment./liliGives customers start/stop and general operating instructions on rental equipment./liliWill be involved in washing and/or performing light maintenance on rental equipment./li/ulpWHAT YOULL NEED:/pulliA pro-active, problem-solving attitude./liliAbility to manage a varied workload with constantly changing priorities./liliDetail-orientation, well organized and ability to work effectively under pressure./liliExcellent listening, verbal and written communication skills./liliExcellent interpersonal skills by demonstrating the ability to develop and maintain positive rapport with a diverse employee/customer population./liliAbility to accomplish assignments./liliAbility to work overtime as a job requirement dependent of department needs, as well as occasional weekend, holiday or evening work./liliMust be able to pass workstep test for position./liliHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training./li/ulpWHY WORK WITH US?/pulliWe like to take care of business and have fun doing it!/liliWe offer health, dental, vision, life, and more as a comprehensive benefits package./liliDont you want to work with awesome people?/li/ulpIMPORTANT INFORMATION:/ppWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
