DBS is excited to announce an opportunity for a Prep Cook / Line Cook to join our dynamic team. • Prepare ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices, in accordance with established recipes and portion control guidelines.
• Assist in cooking and assembling dishes during service, ensuring that all items meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area and kitchen station, including proper storage of food items.
• Follow food safety and sanitation practices to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
• Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during busy shifts.
• Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance culinary skills.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience as a prep cook or line cook in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Food safety certification is a plus.
