Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working as an Occupational Therapist serving K-12 students near Indianapolis, IN. This flexible position allows for a healthy balance, with the chance to choose your days per week (1-3) and set a schedule that fits your life. The role spans the full school year, starting August 3 through May 25, 2027, so you'll have the chance to build rapport and make a meaningful impact on students’ growth and development.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Indiana Occupational Therapy license
- Previous school-based or pediatric OT experience preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions to students K-12
- Develop individualized education plans and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation in school activities
- Provide consultation and resources to educators on classroom modifications and accommodations
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
