Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Paraprofessional, supporting student achievement and engagement in an onsite school setting near Duluth, GA. Available positions include both full and part-time contracts, giving you the flexibility to tailor your work schedule to your needs while making a meaningful difference in young learners’ lives.
In this role, you’ll use your skills to directly assist classroom instruction and facilitate virtual therapy sessions, collaborating with educators and support staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar educational support capacity
- Comfortable working onsite in a school environment
- Knowledge or experience in facilitating virtual sessions is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and respond to the varying needs of students and staff
- Dedication to fostering student development and academic growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in classroom management and instructional support
- Supervise and engage students in daily activities, both in-person and during virtual therapy sessions
- Support students with academic, communication, and social skills
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all learners
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures
- Work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and administrators
