Manufacturing Technician

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for performing tissue processing activities in compliance with regulatory standards and protocols, ensuring the highest quality and safety in all procedures. Responsibilities: Prepare human tissue sections for surgical implantation following established protocols and specifications. Utilize specialized techniques, instrumentation, and equipment to evaluate, cut, shape, grind, and package tissue products. Accurately complete required documentation and perform data entry as needed. Support laboratory operations by setting up and breaking down rooms, handling donor tissue using aseptic techniques, and maintaining sterile fields. Maintain daily inventory of supplies and ensure equipment is in proper working order. Properly handle and dispose of biohazardous and non-biohazardous waste according to safety guidelines. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory staff to support manufacturing operations. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies through ongoing training and adherence to ethical standards. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred, or at least 1 year of related work experience. Experience in manufacturing, aseptic/sterile environments, tissue processing, or operating room settings preferred. Familiarity with precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers, and operation of electrical and pneumatic cutting, drilling, and routing equipment.
