Job Description

• Carry out comprehensive patient evaluations, including thorough physical examinations and meticulous medical history reviews
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and lab reports
• Work side by side with surgeons to formulate and implement patient-centered surgical treatment strategies
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and handling surgical tools during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication delivery, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant institution
• Preferably completed clinical rotations with a strong focus on surgical practice

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
